Volunteers play an important part in helping the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities be successful in our community. We encourage volunteers to chose experiences which best fit their schedules and interests. We currently have two opportunities for volunteers:

Special Event Volunteers – 12 years and older
Special Event Volunteers assist staff with single events, projects, or outings. Opportunities include events such as: Community Shred Day, Ice Cream Social, Agency Celebrations, Field Day, etc.

Scheduled Volunteers – 18 years and older and must pass a background check
Scheduled Volunteers assist staff, enrollees or students on a regularly scheduled basis based on the needs of the volunteer and the Volunteer Coordinator. Opportunities include: Clerical Support, Classroom Helper, Social and Recreational Activities, Educational Programs, etc.
